Customer Reviews
Blind Faith at it's Best
This version of Blind Faith sounds better than the first - Steve Winwood playing guitar extremely well is a bonus as is Eric Clapton's own song list - Eric is in better form than the Cream reunion several years ago - having both Eric and Steve exchange singing parts is great. I hope these two greats will get together for another tour soon as I would definitely like to see them in person.
great
great show!! Great sound and image. You can see how Clapton and Winwood are old!!! But great old men! The set is very nice too...
Fantastic!
This is on of the best concert videos I have seen so far. The sound quality is amazing and the extras on the second disc provide great extra information about the preparations for the concerts. I especially enjoyed the acoustic performance of Robert Johnson's "Rambling on my Mind."
I also enjoyed seeing the rare footage and photos of Cream, Blind faith and Traffic, as I was in my late teens and early twenties when these bande were in their heyday. I still have many of the original vinyl recordings.
All in all, a fantastic DVD.
OK I suppose, but disappointing overall.
I had expected a better backing band, better sound and better production overall.
Compared to the treatment the John Mayer or Dave Matthews/Tim Reynolds Blu Rays got, this one does not compare in my opinion.
I am a big fan of these guys and saw Blind Faith back in the day but this concert seemed kind of "Phoned In" to me.
Wish I rented it rather than purchased it.
One of the better Blu ray dvd concerts
Two great artists, great repertoire, and a good quality audio video presentation, results in one of the better music dvd packages on Blu Ray. The Winwood keyboards, the Clapton guitar solos, are quite magical. Clapton's voice is excellent, and Winwood is as always understated but brilliant.
