Complex MagazineI have not received an issue of the magazine as of 1-6-09 so I cannot review it.

Worth the money but wonder were this mag. is going?

Rating

Right now this magazine is $2.00 for 7 issues from Amazon so it is worth a look. However this magizine is all over the place with it mostly centered around urban hip-hop culture. It looks like this magazine started out as a Maxium/FHM style lad mag but the last issue looked like a cross between Vibe and Details.Details magazine started out like Maxim but then steered towards the metro-sexual new york city urban culture. As long as they keep the interviews with the babes and layouts it will be alright. You have to wonder how a magazine like this is going to survive an economic slowdown. It is largely geared to guys in their 20's living off their credit cards. The whole hip-hop culture is all about flashing the cheese and living large so once the credit card companies take their cards away will they really want to spend $2000 on a bottle of Veure Clicquot Yellowboam. This magazine should steer clear of the hip-hop lifestyle and get back to a Maxim want-a-be.

Does a great job as a maxim wanna bee

I like this magazine a great deal. I only got it because of certain stars that appear in it but this is why I order Maxim and previously Stuff and FHM (both out of circulation).

They have exceptionally fine taste in women.

Decent articles.

Highly recommended.
