Cable didn't work -- difficult to return
Cable didn't work. I bought a much more expensive cable from Best Buy and it does work, so it isn't my camcorder or my HDTV.
Returning the cable was difficult. Vendor doesn't provide return labels etc. I had to do it all on my own.
Great product, great price.
I will never buy cords in stores again. The online cords are dramatically cheaper! Why spend $70 for something you can get online for $20!
This cable doesn't work for canon HF10.
This cable just doesn't work for Canon HF10 and the OEM website (Apogee)clearly states that. Good thing is I can return and get full refund from Tripp Lite. Amazon website shouldn't recommend this cable with Canon HF10.
Broken?
I've been lightly using this cable for a year and recently found signal loss once in a while. This can be fixed by moving the cable a bit until image is seen again and keep it there. It seems to me like one or more wires broken inside.
