inconvienant to use

The whole top end is flimsy plastic. There is no hole to clip it to a carabiner. Its okay for the gym, I guess, but not handy for kayaking or hiking.

good product

I like the fact that it's not plastic, however, it is hard to drink from. You really have to suck hard to get the liquid from the top and if you take take the top off and just drink from the bottle, you get wet.

Best Value Steel Bottle for the Price

Recently bought the New Wave Enviro 1 Liter bottle with Sports Cap. For the price it's a great deal, but I would recommend buying the Poly Loop Cap because my husband and I struggle to open the Sports Cap. It is very tight! The steel is very thin, which makes it lighter, but for rough use, I would recommend the Klean Kanteen. The water stored is kept clean and fresh, so this is our little contribution towards helping our planet.

Good enough in lookings, but...

This is a great bottle, but not everything is perfect. This bottle is great to take everywhere, very resistant and good looking, holds enough water to keep you hydrated during workouts. If you want it for cold water it won't be very useful. Two weak points, in the design department, is is too thin, making it not to keep water cold for long periods. In the material department, it is metallic, metal transfers temperature faster. In fact, water goes from cold to room temperature faster than in a disposable plastic bottle so it won't keep your water chilled enough time, unless you put ice.

Great for Biking

I purchased this product because I wanted a water bottle that was not made of plastic that I could drink from while biking. I have not seen another one which is steel and this large. This is the perfect size for my long bike rides and other than the cap which is plastic, I have less exposure to plastics leeching into my drinking water.
