Comparisons to Other Magazines
Horse Illustrated has the industry's most comprehensive editorial. Readers turn to one publication - Horse Illustrated - over other "niche" publications for a wide range of special columns and features instead of buying three separate magazines to cover English riding, Western riding, and health care. Comprehensive coverage of equine health, nutrition, grooming, and all aspects of horse care helps keep your horse in top shape. Everyday training difficulties, sporting across the world, medical milestones, and functional equestrian fashion; you can expect to find it all in Horse Illustrated.
Advertising
Advertising is relevant to the magazine, offering products and services that all horse enthusiasts will be interested in. An Ad Index is included in each issue featuring the page number of the advertiser.
Awards
The United States Equestrian Foundation, the national governing body for equestrian sport in the United States, has recognized Horse Illustrated for excellence with a Pegasus Award for Media as Equestrian Publication of the Year in 2004 and following up with an honorable mention in the same category in 2005.
Customer Reviews
Horses! Horses! Horses! Do I need to say more
This mag as a bit of it all and seems to be well rounded. Many good tips, some are funny but bottom line my horses are better for it.
A MUST HAVE FOR HORSE PEOPLE
This magazine is another must have for anyone who loves horses and wants to learn more about their care. As with Equus it is highly educational and enjoyable. As an Equine Science student, this magazine augments my studies.
Love Dr. Riley!
Grand magazine for the amatuer rider! Best of all we love the regular column written Dr. Riley!
Outstanding General Information on Horsemanship, Horsekeeping
"Horse Illustrated" is an outstanding compendium of horsemanship, horse-keeping and breed information. With beautiful photographs to boot, it's an outstanding choice for horse owners, or those who happen to love horses.
Great Magazine
This magazine is excellent for beginners. Written articles are for all levels of experience, and do not make beginners feel 'out of their league'. Easy to understand, and relevant materials.
