L'essentiel de l'œuvre de Nine Inch Nails et Trent Reznor est derrière lui, lorsqu'il entreprend, en 2000, la tournée dont il est ici question. On en retiendra surtout l'album The Downward Spiral et sa participation à la bande originale du film de David Lynch, Lost Highway. Ceci étant, le personnage n'a rien perdu de sa carrure impressionnante, de son côté furieusement ténébreux et empreint de théâtralité. On mesure mieux, là, combien il a su renouveler la musique industrielle, tout en respectant un format rock relativement traditionnel. Ses chansons désespérées sont le pendant de celles de Ministry et autres Skinny Puppy d'autrefois. Présenté par son leader en personne, qui se fend des liner notes, ce double DVD, outre un live au son terrifiant, est complété par des photos ainsi qu'une interview du réalisateur de l'ensemble. --Hervé Comte

Brilliant
Trent Reznor is a genius. There is no other word for him. This is the perfect concert DVD to try out a new theater system.
Didn't expect anything less...
All I can say about this DVD is that I absolutely loved it the moment I heard the instrumental opening before it even started. I have many musical DVD's, inlcuding one by KoRn, and Manson, and this one has out done both of them. The songs are awesome, the stage is awesome and the footage really makes the concert come alive. Trent has always produced genius everything so I didn't expect anything less than brilliant. Which it was! NIN fan or not, this DVD is the best money I have ever spent!!!!

My friends and I just sat in awe of the sound on this DVD. Unbelievable.. i wish there were more like it. This is now what i use when I want to show off my system.

high energy, neural bashing, soul-eviscerating sounds and visions from some kind of hyper-creative mind. NIN is one of those bands: whether you buy their albums or not, they deliver the goods in a live format.
Stellar
I own many concert dvd's, most of which I occasionally watch, this is the only dvd in my collection that gets played regularly, the audio and video quality are unmatched, this is the dvd I play when I invite friends over to demo my home theatre system. The sound quality is so good it doesnt sound like he's singing live, its that good. This set is split over 2 discs because Trent maxed out the bitrate of the transfer, and it shows. My only 2 critics of this is that they could have interacted with the audience more and I wish the set list included more from Pretty Hate Machine and The Downward Spiral, 2 of my favorite albums of all time; but this was the Fragility tour so I can forgive him for that.
