Customer Reviews
Bringing down the IQ of a whole island-nation...
If i put 12 hamsters in a room with 10 hamster wheels, i'd come up with a better dancehall record than this moron can... It isn't even worth the little contraversy it has generated... No one that this idiot insults can come across badly... Let's just hope the whole bloody island can shake this off...
Murder Music
If you like songs that advocate homophobic murder, this album is for you! Here are some of the lyrics to Log On:
Log on and step pon chi chi man
Log on and step on a queer man
Log on is a type of dance using the right foot in a stepping motion as
if
to squash a cockroach - the lyrics boast about crushing queers.
Dance wi a dance and a bun out a freaky man.
Join our dance and let's burn out the queer man
Step pon him like a old cloth
Step on him like an old cloth
A dance wi a dance and a crush out a bingi man .
Join our dance and let's crush queer men
Do di walk, mek mi see the light and di torch dem fast
Do the walk, quickly let me see the lighter and torch
lighter and torch: makeshift aerosol flame thrower weapon.

Gotta Give Credit Where Its Due. . .
I gotta admit it, I don't know why I bought this album, I'm not a big fan of Elephant Man, I've been telling everybody that all his lyrics sound the same, and he was just basically and average djay, no better than any of the other middle class djays. But. . .
Log On is amazing!
Elephant is breathing fire on one of the best dancehall albums of the year. So many great cuts on the album, 22 tracks, and no bad song. My favorites are Showdown with Ky-mani Marley, Jamaica Part 1, Su Wi Tan, The Bombing (first reggae tune on the bombing that i know of) Haters Wanna War, Living in Hell Yuh a War, Draw Wi Out, Giving Them Peace, Anything-A-Anything with the Ward of course, nearly all of the tunes are sure fire burners inna dancehall, and the best song is of course Bad Gal, Bad Man with Cecile who just keeps putting together hits, Elephant even has a counteraction to Cecile's Changez called New Application which is pretty good. Spragga Benz's verse on Warrior Cause is hot too, Buju Banton on the very weird sounding X-Rated, everything is just tight. Overall, like I said, Elephant is breathing fire, you have to get this album to round out the year.
On a side note, it is absolutely ridiculous how much Elephant Man actually looks like an Elephant, like Red Rat and a rat, I mean identical twins.
Go get it
