Got in Oceans about 11:00 when the early warm sound SilverStar was playing. Did well from when I got in there but consistently popped down for the next 1hour & 45min until the clash started. Anyway the draw went(I think): Black Kat, Poison Dart, Classique, Matterhorn, One Love, Crown. Crown had a word with the judges that the winner had to play last and so they switched positions with Matterhorn.

Black Kat 1st round: Consistently buss his round and Pantha and prento were on point. Played a couple of new chune (looks like he's been reading the board) and all in all a very good round.

Poison Dart 1st round: Nuttin special in there first round. Played the same chunes as they did in US Cup clash and US world clash.

Classique 1st round: What they tried to do was play it smart and burn out mans chunes. Black kats chronicle went as well as matterhorns bounty anthems. Played a couple a Beres Hammonds which sounded expensive but the crowd wasn't feeling them.

Crown 1st round: Buss there 1st round as expected and took hard to Matterhorn. Played quite a few Beenies on the night and didn't hide the fact that dem and bounty at war. Played a beenie dissing the 5 sounds like they did in US world clash 2000 with ending saying "Matterhorn can?t play bounty so him run fi elephant" and buss the dance.

One Love 1st Round: Destroyed there entire first round with forward after forward. No doubt as to which 2 sounds were leading so far.

Matterhorn 1st round: Constant constant constant flop. Tried the same bullshit as he did in Jamaica World Clash by saying that he didn?t have to play shit in his first round and his supporters quickly turned against him. Got 1 forward this round and just for the record can?t play not 1 single new bounty. Bounty is not doing dubs for him ANYMORE.

SECOND ROUND

Black Kat 2nd round: Once again panther played no new music but the man was so on form that he didn?t need to and buss the whole of his second round.

Poison Dart 2nd round: Not to be harsh on dem but they flopped there entire round. They must feel that clash tape na sell a England cause there round sounded like a carbon of the US cup clash.

Classique 2nd round: The most notable element of there round was that they played 2 Bounty?s dissing Matterhorn. They rinsed off beenie then Bounty beenie then Bounty beenie then Bounty beenie then Bounty beenie then Bounty. Played a couple of Beres Hammonds. If it was a one on one clash dem tunes would mek it but not in a world clash. Crowd just wasn't feeling dem.

Mighty Crown 2nd round: Basically consisted of new chunes but to me the sound system wasn?t clear enough to hear vibes Kartel disses unless the riddim was drawn down low Trooper style. Dissed Johnny killer saying that Matterhorn was using him like punk and nobody don?t see him for the rest of the year and whisped ?make sue you get paid? Big forward. Good round.

One Love 2nd Round: Basically continued where they left off. ------ up there round from start to finish. Played a significant amount of one away tunes for me to get lost in the amount. Played Freddie Mcgregor?s Holy Mount Zion dissing the 5 sounds. Huge forward. Very very impressive round.

Matterhorn 2nd round Continued where he left off. Flopped. Played an excessive around of new music that nobody unless you’re a sound man knew and to be fair they sounded shit. Looked pretty desperate half way through his round desperately scrapping for a forward. Tried to change things by drawing a Leroy Sibbles that was out of context with the music that he played so far and the tune played way to long. Flop. Classique and Poison Dart were to be eliminated but Classique brought it to the judge?s attention that Matterhorn played back a tune. The judges gave them 2 minutes to prove the point which they couldn?t do and a series boos rained in on them. Just for the record it wasn?t the same chune. Poison dart and Classique were eliminated. Honourable mention to PD as they bowed out gracefully and thank the crowd.

THIRD ROUND

Black Kat 3rd round: I was amongst the 15 or so trelawny man that was to the left of the stage if you were in the crowd facing it. Panther basically came to us to ignite his forwards shouting trelawny trelawny trelawny every minute much to Matterhorn’s disgust. From when I asked him about his war suit in the first round, it's that side he kept coming in-between his music playing. Bus his whole round with anthems but nothing we ain't heard before.

Crowns 3rd round I was backing Crown but it has to be said this round was hit and miss mainly because they played Hip Hop dubs. Hit and miss until they played their outkast dub and bus the dance. Good round

One Love 3rd round Played some good music but the crowd wasn't feeling them. The white rasta got a huge forward when he dissed Turantula about questioning him being a rasta and took off his turban. I sware the locks were dragging on the floor like one of the queen wedding dresses but ultimately a disappointing round.

Matterhorns 3rd round Di Bredda came in like he was on crack telling everybody to “suck dem mumma. “ Pussy question mi visa and talk bout my woman” rae rae rae. Anyway he played well and bus his third round. Looked like he was gonna make a comeback. One Love were eliminated but can be proud of the way they played.

45 Round Black Kat’s 4th round Did ok. Basically didn't care as he just wanted to get through the round without ------- up. It was funny cause everytime he stopped to talk to the crowd, the trelawney man dem were telling him to shut the ---- up before he eliminates himself. Decent round.

Crowns 4th round Started on Toni-Ann again but it didn't work as well as last year. Flopped themselves by playing the same set of highgrade chunes as last year. Mediocre round.

Matterhorn 4th round Matterhorn flopped this round again for 2 reasons. The technical difficulties he had with the CD set and the he started to diss the crowd. Now the crowd was largely pro country and Matterhorn dissed Black Kat about Bush and goats. The crowd didn't take kindly to this started to boo. The only forward he got this round was that Elephant Man Chiney Gal song for crown to answer the Toni-Ann taunts. Started to say he didn't need the trophy and again started to diss me and the Trelawny man around me. As he dissed, my hand just kept fanning him off. Flop round. Matterhorn eliminated

1 fi 1 1 for 1 was a tight affair up until the 5th chune when black Kat broke away. Now I don't know about you but I thought people were a bit biased cause I don't know what you think but 27 chambers? Luciano, shouldn't be getting that kind of forward, the chune aint that good. Crown played D brown, Morgan Heritage feat luciano, U roy, Jah Cure amonst others in this 10 v 10 round. Black Kat played same old, same old and won the dance. The dance was nice but Kat won before it even started mainly because of last year. Crown bowed out gracefully and even at voting time, people in the crowd were telling other people not to boo them because they done very well. All in all a nice dance but predictable.
