Riddim Soundclash 2004 - Germany

Round 3: 1 elimination
Supersonic: attacks with Beres, Luciano, Junior Kelly ?Push Di Fire?, mashing up the place with "Hit Song" by Sanchez. They play the combo Buju/Robert French "Sound Fi Dead/Ruff Like We", Admiral Bailey "God Pickney", "Murder She Wrote" by Chaka Demus and Pliers, Culture "See Dem A Come" and Justin Hinds "Carry Go Bring Home", Max Romeo "Chase The Devil", having big forwards for every tune. The mc seh to Troopa that when dem clashed with Jaro and troopa was on the mic he can say "jaro antheeeeemm" but now he doesn't have any anthem to play... They FLOP playng back the Inner Circle "Reggae Ambassadors" already played by One Love, and Lampa come on stage showing he want to cut dem throats.
Good Segment, but with the biggest flop of the night... specially that Supersonic don't turn off the tune when the host told dem to close the segment... (the mc was on the trooper consolle..)
Ricky Trooper: seh something bout the playback by supersonic, plays Vegas, Alozade, Buju "Boom Bye Bye", Junior Cat "Killin Pussy" in ganjasmoka version and killer battiman version. He plays a Chrome version with the horns that has his forward, and answer to Supersonic bout the anthem ting....WHATTA BLOODCLAT FLOP! He plays his tecno tune but Supersonic ppl come on stage showing to the crown the 12" of the regular tune by A-Teens called "Super Trouper", and his Bounty on tecno riddim doesn't save him from the massive booooes. He attacks again Supersonic tellin dem that everyone can play Chaka and Pliers and it's a very common ting, and he plays the original "Bam Bam" by Toots an the Maytals, that is a likkle flop (the riddim wasn't the original version but a shit digital version). He plays maybe an xclusive Gentleman but nothing to say. Regular Segment, worse than last 2, and always glasses, water and tings on stage by the "hooligans" in the arena...
One Love: King David takes the mic speakin bout the 20 euros of entry for the clash, and seh he has the tune for ppl 20 euros: he plays "Peace Cry" on Jamdown, combo with 4 artists (R. Stephens, Beres Bounty and Junior Kelly) that receive the biggest forward of the night. They continue wid Pinchers/Bounty in combination (Borderline/Coppershot), Coco Tea , Shabba "Trailer Load A Gal" changed in "clash, clash, everyday...", again Shabba wis "Shine and Criss" and Kartel "Tekk Gunshot" (the first by One Love) on the same riddim. Showtime riddim with Bounty "warlord Nuh Business" and Nitty Kutckie "Man A Badman". Diwali segment with 2 Ely tunes, Assassin, Sean Paul "Kill That Sound", Sick segment with medley "Deya To Rass/Gallang Bad/hands up" by capleton, Wanted riddim by T.O.K., Burro, Sizzla and Bounty "Anytime" and Burro "Phenomenum". Lampa come on stage and everythin gettin serious "d'u wanna listen the platinum tune that only One Love can play???" and start Ini Kamoze "Here Come The Hotstepper" that destroy the place. Then "Longin For" by Jah Cure. The segment is one only big forward, and when One Love turn off the consolle the host have to wait a while to shut up the ppl. Fi sure the biggest segment of the clash.
Elimination:
So, now, Supersonic did his playback and Troopa played a regular tune, so the judgment is between these 2 and one love go straight to the tune fi tune. Troopa has to leave, but he takes the mic from the host and seh "massive, me a di Troopa, di Supa di Troopa, di supa Ricky Troopa"... a sad show.. but one part of the crowd clap him.
