Eclipse Pool Party V Exposed - Rockfort Mineral Bath - March 26 2005 - Jamaica

Not once, not twice, not thrice, but more than four times, the power went out.
One could say that the Cool Oasis 'Eclipse Pool Party V Exposed', held last Saturday at the Rockfort Mineral Spa, St. Andrew, had its fair dose of turbulent times at the start, but the event gained its momentum and successfully delivered a classy finish.
Class acts
With class acts like The Doctor, Beenie Man aka 'King of the Dancehall', spitting lyrics at every turn and rhythm, Lady Saw, aka 'Queen of the Dancehall' in superb form and Sizzla blazing the fire, there were no thoughts of the technical difficulties that transpired earlier in the show.
Renaissance Disco, Foota Hype, Swatch International and others, served up quite a dish for the music-hungry, fun-loving patrons. The selectors spun the venue into a mad frenzy, dropping popular dancehall and hip hop tracks from the early nineties to current hits.
Dancehall rhythms like the 'bug', the 'diwalli', 'fiesta' mix and others were recalled to the turntables, holding patrons in a reflective mood, as they enjoyed tracks like Bounty Killer's Suspense and War. More recent tunes like Sean Paul's Get Busy had females wining and gyrating in their impy skimpy attires.
As the changes came on the turntables, so did the vibe and music, as selectors flipped the genres, spinning a few hip hop tracks.
It was not until 2 a.m. however, that patrons turned their attention to the stage.
The French Kut models, opened the show. they were followed shortly after by the La Creme and Finesse models. in a display of beauty, sex appeal and fashion.
At approximately 3:45 a.m .Turbulence took to the stage, kicking off the stage show segment. He was later joined by Sasha, and the two performed their hit Want A Natty.
As the wee hours of the morning drew closer, the show sped towards its climax, with Lady Saw, who took to the stage at 4:05 am. Clad in white, Saw immediately went to work, singing Man is Di Least'. Saw, however, had to pause to kick off her boots and get comfortable before jumping back into her song.
Pretty P---y, Saw explained, was one that looked good, had a tattoo and was well-shaved. This, she explained, before singing that and a couple of her other tracks, among them, the forever popular Backshot.
Doctor's visit
Beenie Man, then walked on stage, much to the surprise of the audience, as screams, shouts and loud cheers welcomed 'the Doctor' on stage, as he came out singing, "Yuh think mi nuh know dem nuh like mi."
Mad, Goodas Gyal, Picture Dis and Chakka Chakka were among some of the songs that the doctor delivered, before he was joined on stage by dancers John Hype, Shelly Belly, Shankle Dip and Blaze'.
Sizzla was also brought into the mix and the hype as he walked on stage and dropped a couple of his tunes, appealing to the 'Gangstas', mouthing bad minded people that they ain't going to see him fall and encouraging his fans that 'you got to be strong.'
Lady Saw and Beenie Man rounded off the evening, each with tracks from their latest albums.
Eclipse Pool Party V, definitely exposed some spanking performances and a full dose of fun and entertainment for all those who attended.
