Everton Blender, Iesha Blender LIVE in Boston

Yes! It was niceness. The handful of new tunes that Everton performed were all strong tunes, ensuring that the latest cd, KINGMAN, is to be secured by all music lovers! I am looking for my vinyl copy asap.
Selector K Don was not mixing incredibly but dropped some of the current big tunes to get the place going (I caught the end of his set though so can't speak for the whole thing).. I forgot the opening act name but he was pretty good. He started the vibes out nice. He is a white dread with long dread to his feet. Clearly delivering words of rasta. I think he's out of LA.
Iesha Blender (Everton's daughter) came out and the show stepped up the vibez - she very skillfully covered D Brown and did an original tune (I assume) Bad Boys.. This was a tune urging boys not to go the badness path. Iesha was a hit! I expect she has a bright shining future.
Iesha Blender then moved to back up singer as her father, theeeee Mr Everton Blender, took center stage. He delivered hit after hit from his career getting some big forwards from the energetic Bill's bar crowd. Tunes included Piece of The Blender, Blend Dem, Why Do We Have To War, Lift Up Your Head, Create A Sound, Blow Your Nose, Just Wanna Be, Heavy Load, Bring Di Kutchie, Family Man, Bob Marley, Hard Times (On hard times riddim), Still Deyah, Ghetto People Song, his signature Where do the children play acapella style, and MORE. He was in a fine style as usual with that amazing singing delivery sounding sharp, clear and full of emotion.
The only 2 tunes I wish I heard were Sun Is Shining (since the riddim bust back) and Material Girl (but I didn't expect that to play).. but that is not to say I was dissappointed in any way. Every time I list my top 5 singers, Everton Blender is in the list... and his performance Sunday surely keeps him in the top 5. He's on the road for 2-3 months from now from what I understand so CATCH THE SHOW IN YOUR AREA if possible. Big up KYLE, Earl Rose, and everyone involved in the show. It was niceness. I NEVER go out on Sunday but I'm glad I made an exception. Big up I-Grade and J Rich.
