| Heard a rumor that they broke up. Shepard still plays on 96 but no longer as matsemelia sound. |

I think you are on point. I know Umba is no longer on the sound. I am not sure if the sound is even taking dates at this point. Umba goes by the name Shepherd as you mentioned, and is taking bookings at present.
I really don't know what happened to cause the breakup.
