I am a new member and do not mean dispute claims posted on the board, i have worked for years with the "Twin ofTwins" using them for Dubs, and i know i speak for DJ JungleBOy from Miami, Justice from Orlando, and the classic sound "Dreadstone" from NY, when i say Curly LOcks and Tu-Locks "twin of twins have always been honest, straight forward, and a pleasure to work with. Word on the street is tha Skim has worked for them for years without incident as well, and ther are actually 2 sides to the story regarding that specific issue. Regarding their interview CD, it is the most brilliant and ingenious CD I have heard coming out of Jamaica in over a decade, i also hear there is another one being released in December. I have not spoke or seen the Twins for years but based on the songs they have written for Bounty, Beenie ad Elephantman, they deserve some real recognition. One Love

I have 8 tunes from Curly Loxx - 4 are wicked. 4 have not and will never be played in public. So with 50% of the tunes being playable, I dont think it looks too good. Not to mention it took what,,, 14 months and letting half the industry know that I was getting fucked over to get my last 2 tunes... and I never got anything extra for waiting that long. Plus, even up to now, I log onto to highlanda.com and see that Curly Loxx still owes someone a dub (for well over a year)....
Trust me, I dont wanna bad mind nobody. I felt forced into the situation after spending x amount of calling cards for a year and getting nowhere... I then publicly aired my opinion and the facts of what was happening to me as it seemed like my only chance of getting what was owed to me. It did work.
If you have had good luck with him, congrats and I hope for your sake, that never changes. |

ive recently been introduced tot he twins of twins cd, and im more than impressed. |
