This announcement comes on the heels of FIFA Vice President, CONCACAF President and TTFF Special Advisor Jack Warner’s recent stinging criticism of the English FA’s management of the bid.

Manchester United FC have extended an invitation to the young Trinidad and Tobago Soca Warriors to attend the game versus Arsenal this coming Saturday at Old Trafford. Soca Warriors new recruits J’Lloyd Samuel and Bobby Zamora will both miss the crucial World Cup Qualifier against El Salvador in Trinidad tomorrow. Samuel did not pick up his Trinidad passport in time to be registered within the 72 hour period as per FIFA, and Zamora picked up an injury in pre-season training.

Trinidad and Tobago as a whole were quite pleased with the display by the Soca Warriors in their World Cup Qualifying match against Costa Rica on Saturday. Although going down 3-2 at the Dwight Yorke Stadium in Bacolet, Tobago, Coach Russell Latapy was happy with the improvements shown by the players and the team.

Trinidad and Tobago slipped to bottom of the CONCACAF standings when they fell 3-0 to the United States in Wednesday's 2010 World Cup Qualifier at LP Field, Nashville. Trinidad and Tobago made amends for a 2-1 defeat to Bermuda in Trinidad last weekend, with a 2-0 victory tonight in Hamilton, Bermuda before a sellout crowd. TTFF received TT$173 million - where is the money?
Jack Warner and the TTFF have been telling the blacklisted Soca Warriors who are taking them to court that income for the concluded World Cup campaign to Germany was TT$18 million. However, using the Freedom on Information Act, the Soca Warriors' lawyers have confirmed the amount was TT$205 million if TT$32 million provided from the government is also included.
