Elephant Man vs Flippa Mafia at Sting 2009

Since the feud between Flippa Mafia and Elephant Man erupted since the middle of this year, there has been much talk to a clash at Sting 2009. Elephant Man is making it clear he is up for a clash, but only if the money is right, which will for him will definitely run into the millions similar to other top dancehall artists. Flippa Mafia is the upcoming artist who is looking to take a stripe off of the Energy God, Elephant Man.

As one selector stated, “The two artiste dem did have a ting a gwaan and the fans did get excited, but after a while it come in like it just fizzle instead of sizzle.” Elephant Man, in his defence, said he deliberately cooled down things because with so much war going on he decided to be responsible and focus on giving the fans something positive instead.

“Some real good dancing tunes to keep the hype and energy flowing in a positive manner in the dancehall,” he said. “I am the man to keep the dance in dancehall,” he added. But, after reports that Elephant Man is running from Flippa Mafia, Ele wants to set the record straight. “Everybody know say we nuh fraid a nobody. You figet say a we name Scare Dem and a me name Ele?”

This begs the question, what is the right price for this clash? According to Elephant Man, “Since everybody fee start in the millions, then mine haffi up deh to. A cool five mil sound good to me. Remember say a clash is a ting where you put you career on the line, you know. So if a man going to risk everything, then the promoter haffi pay. It simple.”
