Elephant Man offers US$5000 to offset the funeral cost of Bogle
Filed under: Reggae|JamaicaDeejay Elephant Man has reportedly offered US$5,000 ($305,000) to the family of slain dance choreographer Gerald 'Bogle' Levy to offset their funeral expenses. Bogle was killed last Thursday morning as he bought gas at a service station on Constant Spring Road, shortly after leaving a session where he had an altercation with some men.
Elephant Man has long been known to be a close associate of Bogle. He has made much reference of him in his tracks, and Bogle has appeared in some of Elephant Man's music videos including Sesame Street.
In a release from his publicist, Ray Alexander yesterday, Elephant Man said he wanted to ease the family's burden during their time of bereavement.
The deejay said he had a close relationship with the dancer, and he sent out his condolences to Bogle's mother, children, friends and fans.
