The much talked about confrontation between Sizzla and Jah Cure recently at Cocoa Tea's Dancehall Jam Jam stage show was strictly verbal with no physical blows thrown. This has been confirmed by both Sizzla and Jah Cure. The conflict started after Sizzla hinted that Jah Cure might need some vocal lessons.

Guinness Sting 2007 failed to live to the usual hype of years past. Most of the patrons left feeling shortchanged with no clash taking place and sub par performances from many of the featured acts including Ninjaman, Bounty Killer and even Vybez Kartel.

Similar to what occurred at Mavado's birthday bash recently, Jamaica Police halted three reggae shows. The shows included Riding West, Rasta Bash and Reggae Fever. Artists, patrons and all vehicles were searched at three venues. This has come after a senior police official was murdered.

Jamaica Police and Military abruptly halted dancehall DJ Mavado's birthday bash in search of guns and ammunition. Top acts including Bounty Killer, Wayne Marshall, Busy Signal and Mavado himself did not get an opportunity to perform. The Police found one handgun, knives and some ice picks.

Chief Technical Director of Jamaica's Ministry of National Security, Ann Marie Barnes, is pleading with the United States, United Kingdom and Canada to assist with the barrage of deportees flooding the country. Over the past 15 years more than 33,000 deportees have been shipped back to Jamaica.

Beenie Man's estranged wife D'Angel is the sole owner and has now officially changed the name to Angel's Productions, which now handles bookings and contact for Angel's Boutique, D'Angel the artiste and Angel's Productions.

After not showing up for a scheduled court appearance to answer charges of tax evasion Beenie Man is now wanted in Jamaica with an arrest warrant being issued. Beenie Man stated he was on a video shoot and expected his lawyer to be present. Beenie Man will turn himself in today, upon his return to Jamaica.

After serving up an entertaining treat to hardcore music lovers in New York, Irish and Chin Inc. have decided to retire that leg of their annual 'World Clash' event. Damion, a representative at Irish and Chin Inc. said, "The market up there is saturated right now and from a financial perspective, it just wasn't working out. We withstood it for 10 years."
