In what is being hailed as ridiculous, the Trinidad and Tobago government, led by Patrick Manning plans to prohibit cell phone usage while driving. However, Minister of Works and Transport Colm Imbert stated that at this stage hands free devices such as Bluetooth enabled cell phones will be allowed. The logic and feasibility of this decision is being heavily debated.

Supercat, real name, William Maragh, allegedly had a backstage scuffle at the Super Chutney Show, at MOBS II, Chaguaramas, Trinidad with stage manager Wendell Naipaul. The scuffle apparently took place before Supercat came on stage with Supercat alleging racial abuse.

There is outrage in England today after an interview with Jack Warner, FIFA Vice President and CONCACAF President, and the BBC. Mr. Warner is strongly opposed to giving Europe and or England the World Cup for 2018, since it is the next time that CONCACAF will be eligible to host the World Cup. A petition online has been setup to Fire Jack Warner.

Abdul Kareem Ibrahiim, 62, from Trinidad and Guyanese national Abdel Nur, 57, are both wanted on six charges while Abdul Kadir, 56, former Guyanese Member of Parliament, is wanted on seven charges in connection with a plot to blow up fuel lines at JFK Airport in New York. They were ordered extradited to the United States.
