Former Attorney General, Ramesh Lawrence Maharaj, has hit back at Prime Minister Patrick Manning. This after Manning revealed it was Maharaj who gave him details of former Prime Minister Basdeo Panday's house in England. Maharaj, in a campaign stop, held a picture of the house the Manning allegedly owns through his son David Manning.

Violence, similar to what was reported earlier has continued this week in Trinidad and Tobago with the murder Shawn Douglas, an activist for UNC Alliance. Douglas is a member of Lennox Smith's campaign team. Douglas was murdered when a man walked up to him and shot him in his face.

FIFA has stated in a report on it's website that CONCACAF President and FIFA VP Jack Warner is "currently campaigning to become the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago". Warner is in South Africa on both FIFA and UNC Alliance business, with UNC-A co-leader Basdeo Panday in tow.

Various news reports from Trinidad and Tobago, show incidents of randomly reported violence in different areas and sections of Trinidad. Reports include, ballot printers being shot, a COP poster boy being shot dead, and COP supporters being attacked in San Fernando.

UNC Alliance candidate, Lennox Smith, representative for Laventille East/Morvant has been arrested on a myriad of charges. Smith is due to contest the seat in the upcoming elections on November 5, 2007. The charges include, breaching a protection order, assault by beating and two counts of obscene language. Visible support from UNC Alliance has been nonexistent.

In what is appearing to be very comical, police attempted to halt a show at Zen Nightclub on Friday featuring Machel Montano, Benjai, Patrice Roberts and Zan. The police told Machel, "Stop allowing the women to touch your (testicles)." Frustrated Montano said, "If all yuh want to lock meh up, lock meh up."

Steve Ferguson and Ishwar Galbaransingh are both awaiting Appeal Court rulings in their quest to avoid extradition to the United States. Ish and Ferguson are wanted in connection with the Piarco Airport scandal on fraud charges. Attorneys for Galbaransingh and Ferguson are fighting extradition on the grounds that local charges are being heard at the same time.

Joel Zan Fezeck, jointly charged with Machel Montano, Rodney Benjai Le Blanc and songwriter Kernel Roberts in the assault of Brandis Browne outside Zen nightclub on Keate Street, Port Of Spain, missed a court date yesterday, with his lawyer informing Magistrate Maureen Baboolal-Gafoor that "I do not know if he took a nap while there. He is unable to be reached via his phone".

Here is the list of all announced candidates for the Trinidad and Tobago General Elections 2007 to be held on November 5, 2007. Three major parties are contesting the elections including the Manning led PNM, Dookeran led COP and Panday and Warner led UNC Alliance.

According to the reports from Trinidad and Tobago, FIFA VP, CONCACAF President, special advisor for TTFF and newly appointed joint leader for UNC Alliance Jack Warner will be officially endorsed in TnT elections 2007 by FIFA President Sepp Blatter.
