Corner Bar co-owner Chris Leacock said while he was saddened by the fatal shooting that occurred outside the bar after midnight yesterday, he wants to have it open for business tonight.

A joint RBC/RBTT statement said yesterday RBTT Group CEO Suresh Sookoo and RBC's head of Caribbean banking Ross McDonald will share responsibility for leading a smooth transition as the new banking entity decides how to best use its management.

Two concerts scheduled for May 31 in Trinidad did not materialize. RF Promotions' third attempt to showcase Mavado and Lady Saw as well as VIP Entertainment's Keyshia Cole concert failed with both shows being canceled. Ticket holders have been left in the dark concerning the Keyshia Cole show. Mavado's concert has been rescheduled for July 25.
