Trinidadian Kareem Ibrahim, and Guyanese Abdul Kadir and Abdel Nur, were flown by private jet to Miami International Airport en route to JFK Airport, in connection with their alleged roles to bomb JFK International Airport in New York last year. The trio were escorted by approximately 15 FBI and Trinidad law enforcement agents.

Trinidad and Tobago made amends for a 2-1 defeat to Bermuda in Trinidad last weekend, with a 2-0 victory tonight in Hamilton, Bermuda before a sellout crowd. Bermuda was hoping for an improbable victory against the top rated Caribbean team. The goal scorers on the day were Daryll Roberts who is currently unattached from any club team and English First Division striker Stern John.

RBC (Royal Bank of Canada) has completed its TT$13.7 billion buyout of RBTT (Royal Bank of Trinidad and Tobago) Financial Holdings. A joint RBC/RBTT statement said yesterday RBTT Group CEO Suresh Sookoo and RBC's head of Caribbean banking Ross McDonald will share responsibility for leading a smooth transition as the new banking entity decides how to best use its management.

Two concerts scheduled for May 31 in Trinidad did not materialize. RF Promotions' third attempt to showcase Mavado and Lady Saw as well as VIP Entertainment's Keyshia Cole concert failed with both shows being canceled. Ticket holders have been left in the dark concerning the Keyshia Cole show. Mavado's concert has been rescheduled for July 25.

Soca Warriors supporters are eagerly anticipating the friendly against England on Sunday. Even Dwight Yorke, in an abrupt about turn, has decided to play for Trinidad & Tobago once more, since England arrived on Thursday. England midfielder Steven Gerrard has also stated that it is going to be a "tough, tough game against Trinidad."

Reggae dancehall deejay Mavado will miss his scheduled show in Trinidad tomorrow, which has been rescheduled to April 4th and 5th. This after Mavado was arrested on Wednesday after turning himself in to Jamaica Police. Mavado had to surrender his passport yesterday in Jamaica courts after receiving J$200,000 bail.

Trinidad and Tobago, the West Indies and even Facebook are in mourning over the untimely death of former Attorney General of Trinidad and Tobago Keith Sobion. Sobion died after medical complications to remove a tooth at the University Hospital in Kingston, Jamaica.
