An unidentified Canadian man has drowned in the pool at the Trinidad Hilton and Conference Centre yesterday. The Canadian was found at the bottom of the pool at approximately 1:30 pm by two other guests at the Hilton. He was of African descent and wore blue shorts.

Kareem Ibrahim of Canefarm, Arouca, and Abdul Kadir, a Guyanese with American citizenship as well as a former member of its parliament, are among four suspects in the case. The third man Russell DeFreitas was arrested in New York on Friday. One man, Abdel Nur, remains at large and is believed to be in Trinidad.
