Accused murderers, Shevon "Buffy" Peters, 20, Keidan "Ileida" Garcia, brothers Marlon "Madman" Tremmingham, 22, and Earl "Bobo" Tremmingham, 30, Ronald "22" Armstrong, Antonio "Hedges" Charles, Joey "Joey Ogiste" Lewis, Akiel "Crime B" Gloster and Joel "Ninja" Fraser, all from Upper La Puerta, Diego Martin, made their first appearance in court charged for the murder of Vindra Naipaul-Coolman.

Reports from Trinidad are stating that nine men from La Puerta Road, Diego Martin have been charged with the murder of Vindra Naipaul Coolman. Naipaul-Coolman was the latest high profile kidnapping, with a demand for TT$2 million, for Vindra. She was kidnapped outside of her home on December 19, 2006.

HBO Latin America vice president, Public Relations and Corporate Affairs, Miguel Angel Oliva, said yesterday that HBO would "no longer tolerate" Columbus Communications and its brand Flow "misleading our customers and its subscribers". Columbus Communication is the brain-child of Jamaican born Canadian billionaire Michael Lee-Chin.
