Reggae: Ziggy Marley, Sean Paul voice 'Shark Tale'

Ziggy Marley and Sean Paul will soon rub voices with Hollywood's finest actors in the film Shark Tale.

Sean PaulThe animated flick, which opens in the United States on October 1, will feature the two on the soundtrack, while Ziggy Marley's will also voice a character in the movie.

Shark Tale is about the 'sea underworld', which is thrown into a spin after the son of the shark mob boss is found dead and a young fish named Oscar is found at the scene.

Will Smith does Oscar's voice, while Robert DeNiro's voices Don Lino. Ziggy Marley's voice belongs to a fish called Ernie. Other stars in the cast are Angelina Jolie and Jack Black.

For the soundtrack, which includes America's leading hitmakers, Ziggy and Sean Paul team up on Three Little Birds. Other artistes included on the star-studded list include Christina Aguilera featuring Missy Elliott with Car Wash, Justin Timberlake and Timbaland with Good Foot, D12 with Lyrics Lies and Rumors, Mary J. Blige and Will Smith with Got To Be Real and Ludacris featuring Bobby V and Lil' Fate with Golddigger.

This is not the first movie project which Ziggy Marley or Sean Paul has worked on. Ziggy has been consistent with his appearances on North American films. From as far back as 1989, Ziggy appeared on an episode of the sitcom Family Matters. Since then, between several television appearances he has been in flicks such as Marley Magic, Tequila Sunrise, Muppet Treasure Island and last year Fifty First Dates.

Sean Paul has had his music featured on American films like Belly, Grind and, more recently, Fifty First Dates.
