Palmer was brought before the court on several charges, including breaches of the Firearm's Act. He is to surrender the firearm within three days of getting the letter.

ON STAGE BRAWL

The DJ is charged in connection with an on-stage brawl with fellow DJ Desmond 'Ninjaman' Ballentine on December 26 last year during the Sting Reggae show at the Jamworld Entertainment Complex in Portmore, St. Catherine. Several members of Palmer's entourage got involved in the fight which brought a premature end to the show as shots rang out in the early hours of the morning sending thousands of patrons scurrying for cover.

Following investigations by the police, the two DJs were charged with disorderly conduct and assault occasioning bodily harm. Palmer was slapped with the additional charge of assault occasioning grievous bodily harm and illegal possession of ammunition. All the other accused, including Ballentine, are on $30,000 bail while Palmer's bail was set at $100,000.

Palmer, Patrick Samuels, Anthony Wright and Julius Watson had their bails extended to March 18 but Ballentine was a no-show. A warrant for his arrest was ordered by RM Carolyn Edwards.
