Dancehall artiste Chuck Fender was yesterday released from hospital and is now recuperating from what sources close to the artiste claim were minor injuries, following a car accident on Monday night. Fenda was involved in a four-vehicle crash while on his way to Kingston from the town of Mandeville.

Yesterday afternoon, the office of Fifth Element, the music entity responsible for the management of the artiste's career, was closed.
"Dem lock up and gone to check the artiste cause the doctor dem say him can go home," one man at the compound said yesterday.
Fenda is reported to have suffered bruises and abrasions but managed to avoid breaking any limbs.
"All a we give thanks that nothing more never happen to him, because he is a humble person," a woman who refused to give her name, said.
Chuck Fenda, whose first break came with the release of the single Badda Badda, became popular for his 'badman' persona but found a new lease on life since his conversion to Rastafari two years ago.
Last January, dancehall DJ Beenie Man narrowly escaped death when a Hummer H2 all terrain vehicle he was driving overturned in a ditch off the Mandela Highway.
