At least 270 people are now thought to have died in floods in the Dominican Republic and Haiti.

Local officials in the Dominican Republic said that about 110 bodies had been recovered from the western Jimani area near the border with Haiti. Some 200 others were believed to be missing, the officials added.
Up to 100 people were killed in the town of Fond Verettes in Haiti, while 40 more died in the southeast region of the country in the past two days.
20 others died near the Haitian-Dominican border in the south of Haiti.
The island of Hispaniola, which the two countries share, has been lashed with torrential rains in recent days.
Hundreds of people in both countries have been made homeless.
The flooding has caused landslides and has left rural communities isolated.
Forecasters say the rain will continue for two more days
