This will be the third time that Capelton will share the stage with fellow Jamaican artiste Sizzla here in Trinidad.
Locally, soca artiste Machel Montano will round off the line up of top acts with a guest appearance by soca songstress Destra.
Also performing tonight at the Pier II, Chaguaramas venue will be Omar Bolt aka "Jah Thunder" a true "brethren" of Capelton. "Actually we have a family blood...two sister pickney," said Thunder which translates to him being Capelton's cousin.
Capelton who stood outside the Woodbrook office of 96.1 signing autographs for fans who happened to catch him after his on air interview had a positive message for Trinidad's youth.
The Prophet pleaded with young people to stay in school, stay away from drugs and to "listen to dem parents dem."
He insisted that not every "dread is a rasta" and that there "is a difference between a Rastafarian and a dread."
"West Indies vs the World of Music" promises to be a six-hour long concert by Machel Montano and Xtatik, Sizzla and Capelton backed by a live reggae band.
