West Indies opted for southpaw spin bowling all-rounder Ryan Hinds instead of Ricardo Powell for the final batting spot left vacant by injury to Dwayne Smith.

England have settled on Matthew Hoggard to complete their attack alongside new ball bowlers Simon Jones and Steve Harmison, as well as left-arm spin bowler Ashley Giles.
