Dancehall reggae superstar Beenie Man is in a legal battle in the Jamaica Supreme Court with his estranged wife D'Angel. D'Angel, Michelle Downer wants monthly support costs for herself and son, Marco Dean, along with some interest in Mafia House Productions and other listed assets.
It is reported that D'Angel requested J$100,000 per month as monthly maintenance costs for herself and son Marco Dean. It is understood Moses Davis, aka Beenie Man and her settled for much less than the asking figure.The case involving recording company Mafia House Productions, along with other assets are set to an upcoming date in Jamaica. In the first of it's kind in Jamaica, they were the talked about celebrity couple. This celebrity status allowed a lot of spotlight on them and their relationship.
The relationship however quickly soured with accusations of infidelity by both including the announcement by Beenie Man that D'Angel has a lover in New York. This happened shortly after Beenie Man and Barbee were spotted embracing and dancing together at Sumfest 2007. Shortly after the marriage fizzled and now is headed to court.
