Mavado - robbed in Toronto - missed dates in Trinidad
Meanwhile Movado hoping to still make his US date was declined by US Customs in Toronto at Pearson International Airport. Movado was further derailed when he also had to miss a much anticipated date at Sting nightclub in Gulf City, Trinidad.

According to reports from Trinidad and Tobago, "hundreds of patrons erupted in anger on Sunday night". This was after learning via a sign on the front door that Movado will not be performing at the show because he missed his flight. The truth is that Movado could not fly at all since he lost his passport.

The promoter Glenroy Watson, offered refunds but he claimed, "People started making threats and they wanted to kill me. Security broke down and things went wild and overbearing." Watson continued, "I already paid him some money and he promised to return it for a no-show, but so far I have not received the money. The show cost me US$17,000 to organise." When this happens, Watson said "promoters have to stand their losses. We are not insured for shows".
