There is only room for one top girl in Spanish Town, according to D'Angel, who allegedly attempted to have dancehall artiste Barbee kicked out of 'Fire Tuesday', a popular dance in Tawes Pen, Spanish Town.

The drama began at the daytime event at about 2:00 p.m., when Barbee entered the already jam-packed venue, and proceeded to a section of the dance where prominent 'top men' from One Order and the artistes had congregated. Barbee was evidently enjoying herself, as she could be seen gyrating her curvaceous figure to selections from Eraser sound system.

Not even 10 minutes after her arrival, it was announced that 'The Doctor', Beenie Man, had entered the dance, and proceeded to the section where Barbee stood. THE STAR team was in that section, and observed a change in the demeanor of Barbee.

"Look like her vibes did bruk - she tell we dat she don't like the mix-up with she and Beenie, suh she move go to another part of the dance," a top member of the One Order gang said.

The STAR team was in the vicinity, and was duly informed that a female patron who went on her phone immediately when 'The Doctor' entered the dance, was indeed the sister of D'Angel. Surely enough, about 20 minutes later, D'Angel was seen stepping into the event with an irate expression on her face.

REMOVE BARBEE

According to gang members, they were asked by D'Angel to remove Barbee from the event, as she was "Di girl whe a hol' up di banner fi Spanish Town."

"We rate D'Angel an ting, but Barbee is a artiste too, an wi neva see why we shoulda dis her like dat, so we tell her no - we an D'Angel kris still, she seh she a come party wit we one nex' time when dem (Barbee an Beenie) nuh deh bout an she exchange number an' cut (left)," the top ranking member confirmed.

Neither Barbee, Beenie, nor D'Angel spoke to one another, as One Order members kept them separated in fear of a dispute erupting to disrupt the event, which was in full swing. Efforts to speak to D'Angel for comments proved futile.

However, when contacted, Barbee said, "I just came there to enjoy myself. I have nothing bad to say about her (D' Angel), I just went there to enjoy myself."

Barbee was not worried either that persons were saying that D' Angel turned up at the dance to either fight or throw her as she says, "the people were very nice, they said no violence would happen there, they wouldn't allow it."

Adding, "that was the first place I ever performed in Jamaica, so naturally I would go there."

Barbee, however, had a message for D'Angel, saying, "I beleive we shouldn't fight each other as women. We know how hard it is for our voices to be heard, so why fight each other? It was made clear that I am not the problem from the interviews, I'm not the one to blame, so why are fingers still being pointed at me? I just want to make music and stay positive."

When asked about the incident, which he confirmed being aware of, Beenie man simply commented: "I don't business wit she (D'Angel), mi nuh know wa she deh pon, right now mi feel very good, jus a pass through an mi feel di vibes."
