In his latest release entitled Sorry, Akon apologises for the dirty dancing act with pastor Dave Alleyne's daughter, 15-year-old Danah at Zen nightclub in Trinidad. This is the second apology by Akon stemming from the incident.

In the lyrics, he said he had no idea the girl was underage and felt Danah's parents should have known where their daughter was going that evening.

Alleyne's brother Ian Alleyne was surprised to learn of Akon's latest release but told the Express he agreed with the singer that parents ought to know what their child is doing and where he or she is going.

"The fact is, Danah had no right being there, she is underage, full stop," said Ian Alleyne.

He said the incident involving his sister was a wake-up call not just to his family but to the entire nation.

"Danah is doing fine now but she has learnt a lot. Parents need to be more alert about what's going on in their homes, watch what your child looks at on the Internet and who he or she hangs out with," he said.

Alleyne said celebrities such as Akon must realise the influence they have on their fans.

"They need to know how much of an impact they have on the youths but at least he was man enough to apologise," Alleyne said.
