The break in was only discovered on Ash Wednesday morning. Police arrested a suspect yesterday and recovered some of the loot, some of which were taken from other businesses in Princes Town.
Among the articles recovered was a compressor taken from Uncle Khalid's Super Supermarket. Owner Khalid Mohammed only knew of the theft when police visited yesterday.
Investigators said that the security alarm was triggered at 6 p.m. on Carnival Tuesday but because of the music boxes pumping of soca tunes, the police did not hear the alarm.
