Police from the Inter Agency Task Force along with officers from the Forensic Science Centre re-visited the area and said they were doing "mop-up operations".

Naipaul-Coolman, the chief executive of Xtra Foods Ltd, was kidnapped from in front of her Lange Park, Chaguanas, home on December 19.

From around 2 a.m. yesterday officers went back up to the hill to investigate reports by residents that there was a foul smell coming from nearby bushes.

They found a decomposing agouti.

On Saturday, police found a camp in the bush and seized pieces of clothing.

They also arrested two men in a house with a pistol.

Air, land and sea searches also continued off Monos Island yesterday.

Police said that they were acting on several pieces of information they had received and that the investigation was "extensive and widespread, focussing on several areas, both behind the scenes and in the public's view".
