Hat trick hero Milivoje Novakovic scored in the 4th, 15th and 77th minute that sunk Trinidad and Tobago to a disappointing loss to Slovenia in a world cup tune up match at the Stade Evry-Bodnoufle.
By Flex MohammaedChristopher Birchall the only Warrior who isn?t afraid to shoot the ball pulled a spectacular goal back for T&T in the 25th minute, but that was the best the world cup debutants could come up with as Slovenia run away 3-1 winners.
Since coach Leo Beenhakker took over as T&T coach this has been the most goals any team has scored on T&T. Top defender Marvin Andrews is still not 100% fit and was not featured for T&T and it showed as T&T defense was a bit disorganized at times.
Russell Latapy and Kenwyne Jones also missed out, Latapy's role taken by Densill Theobald was a big shoe for the midfielder to fill as Theobald just couldn't get that spark going for T&T. Now with this being T&T?s second loss in as many games and, by a non-world cup bound team they will definitely look to bounce back when they face a top class Czech Republic team this Saturday.
What?s left for T&T, they will need to keep their heads up and keep focusing on getting the job done in Germany, yes, a confidence booster would have been nice going into the world cup finals, but Beenhakker's men has been in a similar position before during the last set of world cup qualifiers and came out victorious, no doubt T&T can handle the pressure and get the chance to redeem themselves, lets go T&T!
