Popular Jamaican dancehall acts Beenie Man and Elephant Man are coming for Soca Monarch 2006 - but not as the hosts of the soca competition however. They will be guest artists.
Rumours of Beenie hosting the 2006 Soca Monarch competition started making the rounds over the weekend, however a source close to Caribbean Prestige Promotions, which handles Soca Monarch, confirmed that Beenie Man has been signed to perform as a guest.Fellow Jamaican Elephant Man and local soca powerhouse Machel Montano are also expected to guest appear on the night.
The competition, billed as Fantastic Friday, takes place on February 24.
