The absence of the 'Energy God' Elephant Man from Kiprich's album launch has since sparked rumours that the two artistes may be at odds, but according to Kiprich, he knows nothing about an existing 'beef'.
"If any beef deh deh me nuh know bout it, an mi not even know seh him did fly out, cause mi nuh really deh yah fi know wa a gwaan, cause memba seh a di day a mi album launch mi fly in an di next day mi lef di island again fi one show, suh mi hardly deh yah," he said.Nonetheless, Kiprich says support from his one-time sparring partner and fellow deejay Elephant Man would have been welcomed at the launch, as not only did he expect him to be there, but so too did fans and other well-wishers.
"People a guh expec him fi deh a di launch an if him did come it woulda look good fi him as well, cause fi know seh me as a yout weh usually deh roun him a do my ting now, people woulda gi him props to fi si him come an a endorse di ting. Si Beenie Man come endorse it to di fullest," Kiprich said.
However, Elephant Man's manager Q-45 told THE STAR that the deejay was not in the island at the time of Kiprich's album launch and so was unable to attend.
