Popular soca artist Bunji Garlin declares he will not sing bad man lyrics anymore after a reckless incident that shocked the country of Trinidad and Tobago.

In Trinidad, a few days after a fifth bombing, a 13 year old boy was shot on the street. During a black out in a Trinidad community 2 clowns decided to run down the streets with guns in hand firing random shots. Thirteen year old Kaleem was innocently walking with his mother at the time and was killed by one of the shots. By the time his mother realized what was happening Kaleem was already lying in the street. A number of soca stars including Maximus, Kees, Shurwayne and Bunji Garlin attended the funeral of the young boy. This is when Bunji made his announcement. His quote from the Trinidad Express is this: "We, as artistes, sometimes in our music have a tendency to use rude boy, bad man and gangster songs as an artistic expression but from today I am going to stop."
