News: Offices of Abu Bakr demolished

Police and army are now demolishing the offices of the Muslimeen leader Abu Bakr, at Mucurapo Road.

Nn early morning raid has netted 50 rounds of ammunition, four hand grenades, one ak47, 1 rifle and they also found an underground tunnel.

Abu Bakr himself is now behind bars after being charged with sedition and five other charges.

Police and army have also raided other locations associated with the Muslimeen and Abu Bakr. The Chaguanas Mosque and the Laventille Mosque have also been subject of raids and searches today.
