Justin Raymond-Guillen,the son of Guardian editor Judy Raymond and Jeffrey Guillen, was kidnapped on Wednesday night. He is 19 years of age. "We are begging whoever is holding him to return him to us unharmed."

Up to press time last night the victim's family had not yet been contacted by the kidnappers.
The teenager, who lives in Barbados, returned home to Trinidad just last week for a brief visit.
According to a police report, around 9.15 p.m., Raymond-Guillen was about to enter his vehicle, a black Toyota Rav 4, which was parked in front of his home when a car approached.
The report further stated that Raymond-Guillen had an altercation with a man in the car and the man came out, forced him into the vehicle and sped away.
Word from the area however, is that no one really saw what happened.
But a car was heard speeding into the street where Raymond-Guillen would have been standing outside his vehicle.
Raised voices were heard.
At his home yesterday, his distressed mother was awaiting word from her son's abductors.
"Justin is a sweet, gentle, bright boy who has never done anyone any harm. He is concentrating all his energies on improving his cricketing skills. He is much loved by his family and friends, including all his younger brothers and sisters. We are begging whoever is holding him to return him to us unharmed," the family said in a statement.
The Daily Express was told that on Wednesday, the day he was kidnapped, the teenager, after spending the afternoon training at the Queen's Park Oval, went out to purchase a birthday present for his younger sister.
He was snatched as he was about to leave home to go to Trotters at Maraval Road where he was to join his father to watch the World Cup qualifying match between Trinidad and Tobago and Costa Rica.
Raymond-Guillen is a former student of Queen's Royal College and Maple Leaf School.
He is currently taking a year off academic studies to pursue his dream of becoming a professional cricketer.
He was captain of the QRC First XI and is an opening bat for the Queen's Park first team.
He was also on last year's Trinidad and Tobago Under-19 team, where he earned the reputation of being a "talented all-rounder".
At present Raymond-Guillen is playing for Barbadian club Pickwick.
