Adesh Samaroo is back on his feet again. The young artiste, who was injured two weeks ago after he lost control of his Frontier jeep which smashed into a wall, is said to be out of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) but still warded at the Community Hospital, Cocorite.
By Anna RamdassSpokesperson for the Samaroo family Imtiaz Seepersad told the Daily Express that Samaroo could not remember the accident that almost claimed his life.
He said he broke the news to Samaroo on Monday night and showed him the photo of the wrecked vehicle which was published in the Daily Express.
Seepersad said Samaroo remembers everything except the accident and that he went to a rehearsal before the crash occurred.
"When he saw the picture of the van he was in shock," said Seepersad. He added that Samaroo remembers his music well and the family played some of his songs for him.
He said corrective surgery was done on Samroo's face. "The doctors did an excellent job," he added as he explained there were no scars but just slight swelling.
"His jaw is wired down so he cannot speak well yet," he said. Seepersad said Samaroo should be discharged soon and his family are happy and relieved that Samaroo is on his way to a full recovery.
