The reward that was posted by Shocking Vibes and Beenie Man for information leading to the arrest of Bogle's killers remains at J$1 million and is yet to be collected.

Beenie Man - posted reward money for information on killersBogle, whose real name is Gerald Levy, was shot and killed on January 20 while at a gas station in Half-Way Tree. The police report that the dancer stopped at the gas station when two men rode up and shot him 14 times killing him on the spot.

Later that day, Shocking Vibes in a release stated that it was offering a reward of $1 million for information leading to the capture of Bogle's killers.

But checks by THE STAR revealed that the money was still uncollected two months after the entertainer's death, as the police have not yet made a break through in the case.

"I've not been told by the police that anyone has come forward with information, so as far as I know it is still uncollected," stated Patrick Roberts, CEO of Shocking Vibes Productions.

Despite reports that there would be an increase every week if the crime was not solved, Roberts said there was no increase as yet as the initiative was administered through Crime Stop and that arm of the police would have to give the go ahead for the money allotted to be increased.

Increase money

Crime Stop, however, said Shocking Vibes would have to increase the money that was put up for reward.

Meanwhile, the manhunt still continues for Bogle's killers who have been at large since that night. The dancer was shot and killed and five other persons shot and injured.

The police report that Bogle was shot by one of two men on a motorcycle when he stopped to purchase fuel. One of the five persons injured in the incident subsequently died in hospital.
