Secaucus, NJ (Sports Network) - The MetroStars announced Monday that forward Cornell Glen was traded to Dallas in exchange for the 12th pick in Friday's MLS SuperDraft.

The MetroStars selected Tim Ward with that selection, which was originally acquired for a player to be named later.

Glen spent one year with the Metros, recording six goals and two assists in 18 games. The Trinidad and Tobago international, who came to MLS in March of 2003, also missed six games due to national team duties.

Ward is a 17-year-old defender who just finished his freshman season at Saint Louis University.
