Anti-Kidnapping Squad members last night found the body of 16-year-old Petit Valley teenager Stellan Davis in a shallow grave on an estate at Upper Covigne Road, Diego Martin.

A senior member of the AKS said police from the West End station and the Special Anti-Crime Unit swooped down on the site after they received a tip-off.

Two teenagers were held in connection with the case.

Davis, of Palm Avenue, left home on Monday afternoon to play a game of football with friends at the nearby Petit Valley Government School.

However, according to police reports, at around 8.45 pm, his parents received an anonymous telephone call saying he had been kidnapped.

A $700,000 ransom was demanded for his safe return.
