Football: Mexico Easily Top Trinidad and Tobago To Advance

The Mexico national team easily brushed aside Trinidad and Tobago 3-0 on Wednesday night at the Estadio Cuauhtemoc in Puebla to secure their spot in the Six-Team CONCACAF Final Round of World Cup Qualification.

Antonio Naelson scored the game winner in the 19th minute of the first half, while Jaime Lozano scored a brace with goals in the 59th and 85th minutes to keep the tricolor perfect with a 4-0 record and 12 Points in Group C Qualifying Standings.

In the other Group C Qualifying match on Wednesday, two goals by Kendall Velox and one from Shandel Samuel led St. Vincent & The Grenadines to a 3-0 win and eliminated the host St. Kitts & Nevis at the Warner Park Stadium in Basseterre.
